

Vietnam Airlines add 212 flights over Tet

The Vietnam national flag carrier (Vietnam Airlines) has announced it will increase its flights for the second time to meet the demand for more travel during the Tet (lunar new year) holiday.
Vietnam Airlines have hired aircraft A321 to enhance repair works, provide materials, and recruit pilots and flight attendants.
Under the plan, the airline will add two round-trip flights on the Ho Chi Minh City – Hanoi route and one round-trip on the Ho Chi Minh City – Danang route with 214 seats.
From February 2 to 5 and February 11 to 14, 2008 the Ho Chi Minh City – Hanoi route will have two more daily round-trip flights by aircraft B777 with more than 300 seats.
With these, the total flights over the festive period will be 212, with a total of 28,000 seats.
