Binh Thuan tourism to be promoted in Germany
The Southern province of Binh Thuan will advertise its tourism potential in ITB - 2008 Berlin, Federal Republic of Germany from March 5 to 9, 2008.
Tourism kiosks from Vietnam, Binh Thuan and businesses such as Hoang Ngoc Resort and Sea Lion Resort will promote tourism, culture, youth travel, eco-tourism, adventure tourism, sea tourism and introduce their image and potential to international markets, especially European and German markets.
Binh Thuan's tourism strategy focuses on luxury tourists. The province is now improving the quality of tourism products, ensuring a fresh natural, training skilled human resources and investing in infrastructure.
According to a report released by Binh Thuan Tourism Department, in 2007, the province greeted more than 1.8 million tourists, including 175,000 foreigners and earned a turnover of 1 trillion VND.
Over the past year, Binh Thuan licensed 38 projects to build large-scale tourist sites and develop new tourism types. Of these, 8 projects have been completed and have come into operation.
